Who are Charles, Porter and Company?
Charles, Porter and Company has been in business in Halstead for more than twenty five years, serving the local and wider community with the aim of providing independent financial advice. With so many years experience we can be of real benefit to those who need help, reassurance or support in areas where they may have little experience or confidence.
We offer a personal, proactive service to clients who seek an ongoing long term relationship aimed at achieving specified goals. This might be maximising the benefit of an investment, controlling investment risk, building an income for retirement, arranging insurance for the protection of a family or business or, perhaps, saving money or tax. We aim to provide clear, unbiased advice focused on you and your peace of mind. We are not orientated to the sale of products, be they savings plans, pensions or investments.
We are committed to the FSA's regime of Treating Customers Fairly and have a four stage process for providing assistance to our clients, FAIR. This involves a Factfind to determine your personal circumstances, Advice that is appropriate to your requirements, Implementation of what needs to be done and Review to ensure that what has been done remains relevant to changing circumstances.
